After her first dance, Heidi revealed that she considered quitting before the DWTS season 31 premiere. According to Page Six, Heidi’s “self-doubt” almost led her to exit DWTS. She revealed that the rehearsals the week before the premiere were “awful” and that she “was on the verge of crying.” Regarding a particularly tough day, Heidi said, “I struggled the entire rehearsal, for three hours, and then I went home and I rehearsed until, like, four in the morning.” Heidi also revealed how Charli convinced her to stick with it and see her DWTS journey through.

Heidi said, “She told me everything I used to tell her when she was a kid and in dance.” She called Charli’s advice “great” and explained how her family has been “super” supportive. Heidi shared that her children “helped get me out” of her head. Charli expressed how “proud” she was of her mom, saying, “Knowing that you’re going to perform in front of so many people, I think would be extremely nerve-wracking for anyone.”

Watching Charli and Heidi support each other on DWTS is heartwarming and adds to the happiness and joy DWTS season 31 radiates. Charli and Mark gave the best and most confident performance of the premiere, and it will be intriguing to see how she develops throughout the competition and what else she’s able to do. Heidi gave a solid performance on DWTS, despite her nerves, and she has a lot of room to grow, but she has the commitment to be able to handle the rigors. The DWTS season 31 premiere showed a lot of promise, and it looks like viewers are in for a great season.
