The Bachelorette star Erich Schwer may have won Gabby’s heart, but that isn’t stopping fans from wanting to know more about his ex-girlfriend Amanda.
The Bachelorette season 19 has wrapped, and now rumors are swirling about Gabby Windey’s fiancé Erich Schwer‘s ex-girlfriend, Amanda Kaylor. Fans knew Erich was most likely to win Gabby’s heart since getting his one-on-one date early in the season. Gabby always held a special place for Erich in her heart, and it only seemed to grow as she eliminated other suitors.
When the 29-year-old real estate analyst got to the hometown dates, everything seemed to click between them. Gabby was well received by Erich’s family, and he said all the right things during his hometown date with Gabby where he met Grandpa John. After the hometown date, their relationship continued to go well, which was evident by their fantasy suites date. During The Bachelorette finale, Gabby and Erich got engaged, and the two seem happier than ever.
Since his getting engaged to Gabby, who’s on Dancing With The Stars, rumors have been circulating about Erich breaking up with his ex-girlfriend, Amanda, to go on The Bachelorette. Now fans are curious about who his ex is and the story behind their relationship. Erich allegedly dated Amanda for a few months before breaking up with her over text so he could go on The Bachelorette for career opportunities, according to Life & Style. Amanda is a single mother to her 2-year-old son, but apart from being a devout mom, she loves the outdoors. The Santa Monica resident also has a passion for dirt biking and snowboarding. Before The Bachelorette season 19, Erich met Amanda on the dating app Hinge in January 2022. They started dating soon after meeting and began a serious relationship.
By March 2022, The Bachelorette‘s Erich, who apologized for the racist photo, told Amanda he was going on The Bachelorette. At the time, Erich felt stuck in his career path and wanted a change. It seems Erich believed The Bachelorette might help him make that change, and fast. He wanted to figure out who he was and said he could not be the best version of himself for Amanda and ended the relationship. In another text Erich allegedly sent, he said, “I made a rash decision that was beyond selfish .. Can we talk when I am back in L.A.?” sending her two dozen roses shortly after. Amanda agreed to meet up, but Erich never responded since he was filming up until a day before The Bachelorette season 19 aired. In the text to The Bachelorette Erich’s ex, he wished her well and apologized by saying, “I am so sorry Amanda, what I did was terrible. I don’t expect you to ever forgive me.”
A lot of stories have started popping up about Erich’s past, especially now that he and Gabby got engaged on the finale episode of The Bachelorette. Fans hope there are no skeletons in his closet that could end their engagement. While the couple seems very happy together, The Bachelorette fans are hoping Erich doesn’t break Gabby’s heart as he did to Amanda.
